Another Apprentice bites the dust
Noorul Choudhury has insisted he is the "life and soul of the party" after getting his marching orders from Sir Alan Sugar on BBC One's The Apprentice.
The science teacher from Rochdale is the fifth candidate to be fired from the show after making a loss of £169 selling bric-a-brac.
As he fired Choudhury, Sir Alan said he had "escaped the radar".
The 33-year-old said he was "quite ruthless and arrogant" but added it was "something that I can't change".
Choudhury claimed the editing was a factor in how candidates came across in the show.
Row re-ignited
He said: "They make characters out of you, don't they?
"I'm always the life and soul of the party... I'm always talking and chatting."
Choudhury claimed his team, Empire, wrongly interpreted the rules of the sale and thought they had to get rid of all the items, whether they made a loss or not.
Ignite teammates Philip Taylor and Lorraine Tighe reignited an ongoing row in a dispute over the sale of a skeleton and a rug.
Taylor told Tighe she was wasting her time on the rug, which was later revealed to be a hidden gem - but despite this, the team managed to win.
